Donald Trump has again surpassed everybody’s expectation that he’ll say something unbelievably offensive.
While campaigning in Michigan on Friday, August 19, he told African-Americans that by voting for him, they’d have “nothing to lose.”

“What do you have to lose by trying something new, like Trump?” Trump stated. “What do you have to lose? You’re living in poverty. Your schools are no good. You have no jobs. 58 percent of your youth is unemployed. What the hell do you have to lose?” Trump told the crowd at a rally in Dimondale, a town that is 93% white.
He also added,
“I will produce. I will produce the inner cities and I will produce for the African Americans. And the Democrats will not produce. All they’ve done is taken advantage of your vote… If you keep voting for the same people, you will keep getting exactly the same result.”It’s evident Trump is not doing well with the black vote. A recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll estimating blacks who favor the Republican nominee has stalled at 1%; it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that his African-American barely there.
Thus, it is the second time in a week that the business magnate has attempted to solicit support from the African-American community, with him coupling up with Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke to ask for the black vote during a visit to Wisconsin on Tuesday.
He also makes sure to let the African American voters know, unlike Hillary Clinton, that he doesn’t pander to them.
Trump has proven to have trouble connecting with black voters. Back in June, he created a stir when he singled a black man out during one of his rallies and referred to him as “my African-American.”
