Drake Releases New Music And Fires Shots At Kid Cudi

Today is the famous rapper Drake’s 30th birthday. To celebrate the big day, the rapper, announced he would be releasing a new album, More Life: The Playlist, this December. The rapper premiered three songs on his OVOSound Radio show via Apple Music’s Beats 1 show, including “Fake Love,” “Sneakin,” and “Two Birds, One Stone,” but some people aren’t very happy with some of his lyrics.

In the new track Two Birds, One Stone Drake takes shots at Kid Cudi, who checked into rehab earlier this month to combat “depression and suicidal urges.”  The lyrics are “You were the Man on the Moonnow you go through your phases, Life of the angry and famous.” The diss comes weeks after Kid Cudi went on a Twitter rant calling out Kanye West and Drake.

Kanye and Drake responded to Kid Cudi’s rant, Kanye West took to his concert goers to claim he birthed Kid Cudi, and Drake made sure to do the same at his concert dissing Cudi on the stage.

Kid Cudi was signed to West’s G.O.O.D. Music label in 2008 and has collaborated on plenty of projects with Kanye West including his newest album The Life of Pablo and one of Kanye’s greatest albums 808s & Heartbreak.

Twitter wasn’t happy about Drake’s lyrics, peep some of the reactions below:

Words aren’t powerful unless they have intentions behind then; but even then, they are only words. A thing uttered and having no substance or physical form.
