Snoop Dogg and Jimmy Kimmel’s interview on Snoop’s GGN News show is straight-up hilarious. The two are old friends, which makes watching them riff off each other pretty amusing.
Snoop asked Jimmy about his being able to play the clarinet, and Jimmy asked Snoop about his painting career, as they both reminded each other of their run-ins during Jimmy’s various gigs. In fact, Jimmy shared that Snoop was his first late night guest.
In the interview, Jimmy asks if Snoop has ever smoked in the White House. Snoop visited the White House with his family in December for the Kennedy Center Honors, and Snoop shared his story. Snoop explained he smoked, not in the White House, but in the bathroom.
“I said, may I use the bathroom for a second,” Snoop remembers. “And they said ‘what are you going to do? Number one or number two?’ And I said number two.”
They were “the CIA or the FBI, the alphabet boys,” and Snoop told them that he likes to light a cigarette or something to get the aroma right in the bathroom when he goes. “They said, ‘well, you know what? You can light a piece of napkin,'” Snoop explains, adding, “and the napkin was this [blunt that he then inhales].”
And so the story of Snoop Dogg smoking weed in the White House is a real thing. This goes to show that even in the most heavily guarded and official building known to man, Snoop Dogg will still light up. He’s known to light up anywhere, and Obama probably had no problem with it seeing as he used to indulge himself back in the day.
