There are plenty of rare watches out there, but few are literally one-of-a-kind. Created for the Only Watch auction in 2011, this Louis Vuitton Tambour Diving Watch ($TBA; Auction) is crafted from 18K black gold, and features a black and orange design, a square button chronograph, counter, date, and an orange rubber strap. It comes encased in a custom Damier Graphite canvas presentation trunk, and includes additional black and orange alligator straps, as well as a certificate of authenticity.

For over 150 years Louis Vuitton has offered clients a choice of adding a personal touch to a number of its classic bags and luggage collections. Mainly reserved for LV’s iconic trunks, the Mon Monogram service now gets an extension from the larger bags on to smaller leather goods. Totaling a number of two million combinations, the latest visuals of the unique service gives viewers a historic look at the tradition, as well as a glimpse of the hand-painted procedure. Marc Jacobs‘ admiration for eccentric Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama is well known.
